H. ANGLADA-CAMARASA. THE YEARS OF PARIS
On the occasion of the Anglada-Camarasa Year, which commemorates the 150th anniversary of the painter’s birth, the Sitges Museums present the exhibition showing works from his Parisian period, between the 19th and 20th centuries, putting in context the two paintings by Anglada Camarasa conserved in the old collection of Santiago Rusiñol in the Cau Ferrat Museum.
Hermen Anglada-Camarasa (Barcelona, 1871 - Port de Pollença, Mallorca, 1959), a good friend of Santiago Rusiñol, was undoubtedly one of the most advanced Catalan painters of Modernism and one of those who gained greater international projection.
