Racó de la Calma hosts a new cycle of classical music concerts with award-winning performers from the Mirabent i Magrans Competition. Every Wednesday in July at 8 p.m., enjoy young talent in a unique setting.

FACCINI PIANO DUO

Founded in Lucca (Tuscany, Italy) in 2015, the Faccini Piano Duo is formed by Elia and Betsabea Faccini, Italian-British pianists and composers. Considered one of the most outstanding chamber music ensembles of the new Italian generation, the duo stands out for its expressive depth, technical precision and interpretative refinement. They initially trained at the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory in Lucca with Riccardo Peruzzi, and continued their higher studies at the Avos Academy in Rome, the Divertimento Ensemble Academy in Milan and the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma, where they obtained a postgraduate degree in chamber music. Their career has been enriched by master classes given by great names on the international scene such as Beatrice Rana, Aglika Genova, Liuben Dimitrov, Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg. In June 2024 they released their debut album, "Ravel: Music for Piano Four-Hands", with the Italian-Japanese label Da Vinci Classics, in which they offer a sensitive and detailed interpretation of the work of Maurice Ravel. Winners of the "Amur for New Talents" competition in 2022, the Faccini Piano Duo has obtained nearly thirty awards in national and international competitions in Italy, Poland, Andorra, Spain and Hungary. They have performed on prestigious stages and within the programming of some of the most relevant musical institutions, such as:

In October 2022, they made their debut at the Teatro Regio in Parma with the show "Giovanna: La Pulzella, la fanciulla, l’allodola", alongside the actress Lella Costa. For this occasion, the duo performed their own transcriptions for piano four hands of the opera "Giovanna d'Arco" by G. Verdi, in a production commissioned by the Verdi Festival in Parma. They have also been invited to Radio Musica con le Ali and Ràdio Vaticana, where they have recorded pieces from their repertoire.
