Racó de la Calma hosts a new cycle of classical music concerts with award-winning performers from the Mirabent i Magrans Competition. Every Wednesday in July at 8pm, enjoy young talent in a unique setting.

ROSA MARIA ABELLA
Born in Manlleu, she has experienced music from multiple angles since she was little: with the violin, singing and also the organ, composition and dance. She has a degree in Singing Performance and Singing Pedagogy from the Conservatory of Music of the Liceu in Barcelona, and in Speech Therapy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has also completed the Diploma of Specialization in Intervention in Voice Disorders at the Ramon Llull University – Blanquerna.
In 2023 he made his debut in the role of Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette with the Fundació Òpera a Catalunya. Throughout his career he has obtained several recognitions, among which stand out

– I Festival Conxita Badia Award (2020)
– C.L.A. Award Pepe Eizaga for best zarzuela performer at the Logroño International Singing Competition (2023)
– Mirna Lacambra Competition Prize (2023)
– Amics del Liceu Prize at the Tenor Viñas International Singing Competition (2024)
– Second Prize and Claudia Montero Prize for best performance by a composer at the Martín y Soler International Singing Competition (2024)
– First Prize at the Josep Mirabent i Magrans Singing Competition (2024)
In March 2025, she will debut at the Teatro de la Zarzuela with La Gran Vía, as part of the Zarza Project, and will later perform Frasquita in Carmen, produced by the Fundació Òpera a Catalunya. Among her upcoming engagements, her debut in the role of Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, also with the Fundació, stands out.
VIVIANA SALISI
She has been dedicated to the accompaniment of vocal repertoire for more than thirty years. She began her training at the Conservatory of Manresa with Glòria Massegú and Ludovica Mosca, and continued it at the Barcelona School of Music with Albert Attenelle. After completing her higher studies in piano, she specialized in lied and opera accompaniment at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany), where she obtained the title of correpitidora with the support of the Wardwell scholarship of the Humboldt Foundation. She has worked as a musical assistant in opera festivals in Bad Hersfeld and Heidenheim (Germany), and within the Òpera a Catalunya cycle of Amics de l’Òpera de Sabadell. She has also collaborated with institutions such as the “La Caixa” Foundation, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Orquestra de Cambra Catalana, the Coral Càrmina, the Cor Jove Nacional de Catalunya, VEUS – Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió, the Cor de Cambra de Granollers or the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. With various chamber ensembles, especially in duos with singers, she has performed throughout Catalonia. As a member of Òpera Còmica de Barcelona, she has carried out an outstanding task of recovering the small-format lyrical heritage, recognized with the Serra d'Or Theatre Award 2013. Since 2001, the year the center was created, she has been a pianist repertory artist at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). At the same school, she took the master's degree in early music interpretation in 2013, and since 2015 she has also been a professor of the lied master's degree "Victòria dels Àngels". Among her future projects, she highlights the search for new pedagogical paths in vocal interpretation and stage communication, as well as the development of courses for singers and pianists, both in person and online.
