She has performed at festivals such as LIFE Victoria and Musiquem Lleida, and during the 2024-2025 season she has performed a concert tour throughout Spain with the Juventudes Musicales organization. Among his notable engagements are Mozart's Requiem at the Palau de la Música Catalana and Rossini's Petite messe solennelle in Palma. He has recently made his debut in the zarzuela genre, playing Rosaura (Los Gavilanes) and Carolina (Luisa Fernanda). He will soon give a recital at the Schubertíada in Vilabertran and will debut in the role of Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) with the Fundació Òpera Catalunya.
ÓSCAR ENCINAS
Born in Barcelona, he began his training in opera singing with his father, the tenor Ignacio Encinas, and continued it at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceu under the tutelage of tenor Eduard Giménez. He has received scholarships from the Fundació Jaume Aragall and the Fundació Montserrat Caballé to participate in master classes with the tenors Jaume Aragall and Josep Carreras. Winner of the Mirna Lacambra Competition in the 2023 and 2024 editions, he has also been a finalist in the 20th CIM Competition of Barcelona and the 41st International Singing Competition “Ciudad de Logroño”. Recently, he has obtained the Third Prize in the 28th Josep Mirabent i Magrans Singing Competition. The 2025-2026 season will be part of the International Opernstudio in Stuttgart, where he will participate in productions such as Rigoletto, Carmen, Die Zauberflöte, La Fest and The Cunning Little Vixen.
MIQUEL ORTEGA
Born in Barcelona, Miquel Ortega is today one of the great references of the lyric genre in Spain. Composer, conductor and pianist, his career is completed with a solid initial training as a singer, which gives him a global and deeply musical vision of the scene. This triple aspect means that his masterclasses are highly valued by both singers, conductors and pianists. In recent years, prestigious universities and music schools have entrusted him with specialized courses that he combines with the direction of lyrical works and the composition of new creations. He has conducted in practically all the great opera houses in the country —such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Teatro Real in Madrid or the Teatro de la Zarzuela—, as well as in prominent international stages such as the Massimo Bellini in Catania, the Regio in Turin, the Opéra de Lausanne, the Théâtre Impérial in Compiègne, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Royal Opera House in London or the Capitole in Toulouse, among others. His name appears in the Catalan Encyclopedia and in several specialized dictionaries such as that of Roger Alier (opera) and that of Emilio Casares (zarzuela). As a pianist, he has accompanied first-rate figures such as Montserrat Caballé, Josep Carreras, Renata Scotto, Àngel Òdena —with whom he has recorded a CD dedicated exclusively to Catalan lied—, Carlos Álvarez or Nancy Fabiola Herrera, among many others.
Young voices with brilliant careers and a master on the piano fill the Racó de la Calma with lyricism and emotion.
