The Sitges Heritage Consortium has approved the new public price tariffs for 2020, which extend the age for free access to Sitges museums, provide family discounts and reductions for the more loyal public. The prices will come into force on January 2 and retain the 10 euros as a standard entry for the Cau Ferrat and the Maricel Museum, although with new assumptions of discounts and reductions.
The new public prices for the Cau Ferrat, the Maricel Museum and the Maricel Palace and the Stämpfli Foundation - as well as the Romantic Museum, after re-opening at the end of next year, after the reform actions - extend the advantages for all the users. The most important news is that children under 16 will have free access to all the facilities managed by the Sitges Heritage Consortium. So far, they were under the age of 13. Adults who are accompanied by a minor will also have a price reduction of 20%.
Another highlight are the benefits obtained by families, with discounts of 20% for all facilities and 30% for large single-parent families. In addition, there are other discounts of 30% (for the holders of the Modernist Pass, the Card of the Friends of the Museums of the Art Museum Network and the Library Card) and 50% (retirees, students, holders of the Carnet Jove and Carnet Blau or people with functional impairments).
The new rates keep the option of visiting only the exhibition organized at the Maricel Museum or at Can Rocamora, for 5 and 3 euros respectively. So far, users who want to access these exhibitions have to pay the general admission. The new rates also make it possible for groups to access only Cau Ferrat or the Maricel Museum.
The new rates also provide free access for Friends of Sitges Museum, who pay € 20 a year; In other words, with two visits the cost is already covered and they can enjoy unlimited free guided tours during the year and discounts in the store.
