Family workshops are one of the central elements of the Sitgestiu program. These activities give children the opportunity to explore the world of art from a creative perspective, but also from a knowledge perspective. The activities vary in theme and are aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 11. Five workshops make up Sitgestiu 2025. The first was held last week and offered the little ones the chance to make a book. The second is today and aims to bid farewell to the swallows that depart each year with the arrival of Saint James. We will bid them farewell with poetry and nature.
The next workshop will be on Thursday of next week and will be the only one of the five to be held indoors, at the Maricel Museum. The Petita Companyia Lírica de Barcelona will introduce children to Mozart through a magical musical adventure.
The next two workshops (August 7 and 14) will focus on the Festival of Saint Bartholomew. In the first, participants will draw, paint, and make puppets of the most festive characters from the dances. In the second, they will paint the Festival of Saint Bartholomew T-shirts, which the little ones can wear to celebrate Saint Bartholomew's Day.
