'Place of Calm at the Mirador': a unique experience to enjoy the sunset at the Sitges Museums on March 21

As part of the program of events commemorating International Women's Day, under the theme "Sent dona," the Sitges Museums are organizing the "Space of Calm at the Mirador" next Friday, March 21st, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a special opportunity to contemplate the sunset from one of the most emblematic spaces.

Surrounded by the Noucentista profile sculptures Descans and L'Aurora by Joan Rebull, and the anonymous Allegory of the Mediterranean, attendees will enjoy an experience of serenity and connection with art, accompanied by piano music by Mireia Rossell, from Abierto al mar (Open to the Sea) for the Charles Deering Residence.

This initiative offers citizens a break from the daily routine to experience heritage in a different way, fostering a dialogue between the environment, history, and emotions in a unique space, bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, featuring three sculptures that provide harmony and balance, and exalt classical beauty.

With limited capacity, participation requires prior reservation through the website museusdesitges.cat or at the reception of the Sitges Museums. Admission is €3, which includes a glass of Malvasia to complement the experience. This is a new activity promoted by the Sitges Museums, which strengthens their commitment to opening their spaces to innovative cultural experiences, promoting contemplation and well-being in an exceptional heritage setting.
