This guided tour allows you to discover the town's two major museum facilities, closely linked to its artistic and cultural history. The Cau Ferrat Museum, the former home-workshop of Santiago Rusiñol, preserves an extraordinary collection of art, wrought iron, ceramics and glass, while maintaining intact the modernist spirit that turned Sitges into a cultural reference center. The Maricel Museum, for its part, offers a journey through the history of Catalan art from the Romanesque to the 20th century in a privileged building open to the Mediterranean. An essential visit to understand the relationship between art, heritage and landscape, and to discover how the light of Sitges has inspired some of the most brilliant pages of its cultural history.
A tour of two essential museums to discover the art, heritage and cultural history of Sitges.
