The Museums of Sitges present their own virtual application

The Museu Mariceland the Cau Ferrat Museum will be launching, as of Easter, a new free virtual application service with audio guide to complement visits to their halls. The service is already finished and, in recent days, the staff of the Museus of Sitges has completed training sessions.

The new app will allow you to do three types of itineraries guided by the Museu de Maricel and the Cau Ferrat: an express route for the masterpieces of both museums, a route divided by collections that will select the best works of each type (ceramics, sculpture, furniture, iron, glass, archeology and painting) and, finally, a thematic tour of the collection of the choir , made up of the works best loved by Santiago Rusiñol, and by the collection Sitges in the collections of the Museu de Maricel .

These guided itineraries will be complemented with other types of service information for the Museums of Sitges - such as schedules, rates or the purchase of tickets - and with extra content about the main works of art that exhibit them. Entertainment will be guaranteed for all audiences, as children will also find their own corner with virtual games such as the rebuilding of tiles at the Cau Ferrat or a fun search - it is entitled Who looks at me? .

Those interested in consulting all the material of the new app will only have to download it for free on their mobile phone. Therefore, you will be able to consult it both at the moment of the visit to the museum and at any other time from any other place. The material included in this application will be available in four languages ​​- Catalan, Spanish, English and French - although, in the future, it is planned that it can also be extended to other languages. From the start, the service is only for Cau Ferrat and the Museu de Maricel, but it is now possible to expand it soon to the rest of  Museums of Sitges..
