Born in Sant Pere de Riudebitlles in 1984, Cesk Freixas is a poet, singer and songwriter. His father was a carpenter, a family tradition that ran for six generations, and it’s the bond he’s established with the artisanal work of music.

As a result, he often likes to introduce himself as a song carpenter. A geographer by training, he has published eight records, three poetry books and two children’s stories.

In 2021 he’s published Memòria, the most representative album of his musical career. He evokes all the poetic maturity and the essence of a warmer and closer sound, positioning him as one of the leading artists in his style in our country.

He now celebrates 17 years on stage, and he does so with the careful and detailed arrangements of Víctor Nin, the grand guitarist that has been with him since his beginnings.
