A very particular vision of the musical compositions that are a part of Sitges’ folk culture, like the Festa Major or the main festival dances and works by composers like Enric Morera, Gabriel Pallarès or Manel Torrens... all with different rhythms that range from jazz and swing to traditional music.

Paula Sánchez-Valverde, soprano, 1st prize winner of  the Mirabent Magrans singing contest, accompanied by the proven pianist Viviana Salisi, prepared a varied repertoire with a first part of songs and a second part of arias of opera . We will hear composers such as Donizetti, Händel, Rossini and Gounod.

The winning musical ensemble of the 1st prize of the Mirabent i Magrans Contest under the category of chamber music is a duo composed by Catalan cellist Irma Bau and Russian pianist Irina Veselov. The program of the proposed concerto are two essential musical pieces that are at the same time opposed in their styles from their chamber repertoire. A sonata by Cesar Franck and another by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The winning musical ensemble of the 3st prize of Mirabent i Magrans Contest under the category of chamber music is a duo formed by the virtuous violinist Christian Torres and the magnificent Lithuanian pianist Paulina Dumanaite. They present a concert based on two major genius of classical music. The program proposes a classical sonata by Beethoven and another from Brahms which is more romantic.

This Saxophone Quartet, winners of the 2nd prize of the Mirabent-Magrans Contest under the category of chamber music, selected a repertoire of contemporary composers showing the entire musical might of this chamber quartet. We will be able to hear pieces by authors like Ligeti, Bozza, Geiss, among others.

This concert will have a special and very original format, it will be an Intimate Audition, in other words, a commented concert with a dialogue among musicians and with the participation of the public, which will be able to make questions and comments. The participating musicians will be soprano Serena Sáenz and pianist Anna Crexells. The presentation will be carried out by Xavier Chavarria, a musicologist and broadcaster of Catalonia Música.

Through the eyes of José Lizarrabengoa eyes, a character in the novel of Prosper Mérimée, we will review one of the great myths of the Hispanic culture. Carmen, the femme fatale.

La traviata suffered  the rejection and ridicule of the public in Venice in his debut the 6 of March 1853. The lascivious nature of the script and the need to empathize with Violetta Valéry, a high class prostitute and the unpleasantness of watching their own faces at the Traviata's mirror. Using fragments of The Lady of the Camellias, Gastone, the friend of Alfredo, becomes the narrator.
