Sitgestiu Cultural 2015

Sitgestiu Cultural at Museums reaches adulthood! For such a merry celebration, we prepared an attractive program that, as a new feature this year, adds the opportunity to see the Cau Ferrat and Maricel Museums. Both museums were reopened last winter and are completely refurbished.

The beautiful spaces of museums and the excellence of art collections are a plus to cultural and musical activities held in the facilities. Therefore, we will offer a real treat for the senses; "aesthetic pleasure for your eyes and poetry for your life" which, since the years of Modernism, has always been the main offer of our museums during the summer.

See you there!

Managing Director of the Sitges Heritage Consortium

Among other reasons, the candent sheerness of the subject, the required search of complicity with Violetta Valéry, a high class  prostitute, and the discomfort of many illustrious spectators when they watched their own faces in La Traviata’s mirror. Today, the opera is represented everywhere. Also here in Sitges. Years have passed, many years. The mirror is now fogged.
