The Stämpfli Foundation inspires the new family workshops of Escola Pia School and Museums of Sitges

L’Escola Pia and Museums of Sitges organize, for the third consecutive year, a series of family workshops linked to museums, art and the heritage of the city. The initiative, coordinated by the association of parents of the educational center in collaboration with the education department of the Museums of Sitges, focuses this year on contemporary art and, particularly, on the permanent collection of the Stämpfli Foundation.

During the eight sessions that have been planned until the end of the school year, children will be able to know some of the most relevant artists who have exhibited in the Stämpfli wedding gallery, as well as their most representative works or the plastic techniques they have used to create them. The intention of the workshops is for children to develop their imaginative and artistic capacity by learning to appreciate and respect the heritage that surrounds them, be it as cultural value and as a source of knowledge.

The sessions, which are free and will be held on Saturday mornings at the Escola Pia, are aimed at children from 5 to 12 years of any school and also to parents who want to accompany them. Baptised with the name of Tot descobrint (Let's learn by discovering) , they will have a monthly frequency and all you have to do to participate is to reserve your place before the Thursday before the workshop day through the email sitges@escolapia.cat.
