The exhibition 125 years of Cau Ferrat. The construction of an ideal (1894-2019) will be extended for five weeks until March 22. The exhibition, which can be seen on the ground floor of the Maricel Museum, recounts the gestation of Cau Ferrat, on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, as well as its central role in Catalan Modernism thanks to the guidance of Santiago Rusiñol. The exhibition opened on November 28 and initially it was expected to run until February 16.
The extension of dates to March 22 was provoked by two factors. On the one hand, to facilitate the public access to the exhibition (in bad weather meant the cancellation of some visits) and, on the other, to give more access to the exhibition. With this extension, it is possible to have more visiting days for the general public, but also to groups. Between Wednesday and Saturday, guided tours will take place at 14.30 (in English), 15h (in Spanish) and 15:30 (in Catalan), which will have an itinerary for the exhibition complemented with a visit to Cau Ferrat and the Maricel Museum.
